And I don't even like jumpsuits. The jumpsuit is designed to be sewn in lightweight wovens, like a rayon challis. I loved the fabric of the sample shown on the magazine cover and really, really wanted to sew mine in something similar. Well, truth be told I wanted that exact fabric! When I realized I wouldn't be able to find something even close, I put the idea of sewing this jumpsuit out of mind. That is, until a sewing challenge on Instagram popped up.

It was called a sewingbowlchallenge. When you expressed interest in participating, the organizer pulled out components of the challenge from six little fishbowls which is how the name came to be. My challenge was to sew 1 from a magazine or book 2 a suit, 3 in a neutral, 4 using colorblock, 5 with my choice of fabric, 6 in three weeks. I love this jumpsuit!

And as I eluded to earlier, I'm not a huge fan of jumpsuits. In fact, the 80s was probably the last time I wore that trend. The top of the jumpsuit is not attached to the waistline, something that was not obvious to me when I first looked at the photos.

The top portion is attached to the side seams and the front ties are crossed once the jumpsuit is on. As you see in the above photo it does leave a small gap of skin showing. But hey! Cutouts are supposedly a trend for Fall so I'm right on trend, right?

The pant length is designed to be cropped, just above the ankle. Construction is simple with the neck and sleeve edges finished with a knit binding and an elastic casing at the waist.

The back is scooped with a small slit opening that closes with a hook and eye. Yea, let me tell ya I may change that to a small invisible zipper which I think would be easier for me to use. The sequin fabric was a "mystery knit" from Fabric Mart Fabrics. The black ponte knit was also purchased from Fabric Mart Fabrics. While its an impractical garment for the current environment we're living in, I do love it.

I can hardly wait till all restaurants reopen so I can wear this out to dinner with my hubby. By the way, this jumpsuit was included in my July Makes video on YouTube if you want to see it in action. This is a new release from Itch to Stitch and I must say this will likely become another favorite!

The waist detail is slight ruched, the flared skirt is a flattering, and there are pockets! The Antrim Dress was released on Sept. This striped version was the first one I sewed. It's a double brushed poly knit that I found at Walmart of all places. It was one of those pre-cut bundles they offer for sale.

I purchased it to use when testing the fit of a knit garment. After sewing the dress I realized I rather liked the final dress and added it to my closet. This dress pattern, a PDF by the way, is available in sizes 00 to 40, with multi cup sizes. Well you know how I love a well-drafted pattern than allows me to eliminate doing my own FBA! And I think it's fantastic that the designer has expanded the size range as this dress appears to be flattering on everyone. Have a look at all of the tester photos in this blog post!

I like it with the pants best for more casual and with the skirt for more business for want of a better word. I love the print of the fabric and they way you used it. It looks awesome, even if the hem was a slightly traumatic experience.

Worth the hassle easy for me to say from thousands of miles away! I love, love, love the print you choose for this top. Sorry the fabric gave you such fits but it was definitely worth it in the end. Did you consider doing the hems by hand? Sometimes it is actually faster if you have to do it over by machine more than once. This is so stylish! So elegant.

I actually prefer it to the first version. Excellent for work or with jeans. What a gorgeous top! And it looks great with both the trousers and the skirt. The print you chose is lovely too. I should add this pattern to my wish-list! This is a great match of fabric to pattern - I love it. I hear you on the hem - I have done that before Nice top. The fabric is beautiful even though it gave you such a difficult time.

This looks great Allison! I love that fabric! And I think it looks perfect paired with the skirt! What a pretty piece! I love the digital print - the patter showcases is perfectly. This pattern is growing on me. Love your interpretation of it. The proportions work really well with the skirt. I have this pattern and love every version I have seen in blog land, including yours.

But I think it will have to wait for warmer weather. I really love this top. The fabric is beautiful and must be well worth the agony. You had already sold me on this pattern--a modified View B not enough fabric for the full cape is next on my cutting table--and now I want to make this view too! Love the fish scale print and the subtle drama of the cape.

Adding a stylish twist to her outfit, Vogue left the cardigan open but added a pretty patterned belt to cinch in her waist, and rolled the sleeves up for extra style points. In other words, the intercept from the model with no predictor variables is the estimated log odds of being in honors class for the whole population of interest. Writing it in an equation, the model describes the following linear relationship.

Now we can relate the odds for males and females and the output from the logistic regression. The intercept of -1. Using the odds we calculated above for males, we can confirm this: log(. The coefficient for female is the log of odds ratio between the female group and male group: log(1. So we can get the odds ratio by exponentiating the coefficient for female. Most statistical packages display both the raw regression coefficients and the exponentiated coefficients for logistic regression models.

The table below is created by Stata.

In other words, the odds of being in an honors class when the math score is zero is exp(-9. These odds are very low, but if we look at the distribution of the variable math, we will see that no one in the sample has math score lower than 30. In fact, all the test scores in the data set were standardized around mean of 50 and standard deviation of 10. So the intercept in this model corresponds to the log odds of being in an honors class when math is at the hypothetical value of zero. How do we interpret the coefficient for math.

We will use 54. Then the conditional logit of being in an honors class when the math score is held at 54 isWe can examine the effect of a one-unit increase in math score.

Now, he's spent hours analyzing every bowl matchup and ordered every game by level of confidence. And he's only sharing it over at SportsLine. One surprise we'll give away: White is calling for Auburn to fall in the Peach Bowl to UCF in a game he has at the very bottom of his list, for one point.

Still, you need every point you possibly can to win your football pool. This one is all about who wants it more, and I'll take the Knights in an upset. Meanwhile, he's assigning a huge point total of 38 to the Independence Bowl between Florida State and Southern Miss, and backing the Seminoles to win. SportsLine's advanced computer model agrees. It's calling for a 30-20 FSU win. Florida State is winning the game outright in 70 percent of simulations. Another college football pick he's high on: Michigan to roll South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.

The Wolverines are 7. Don't be fooled by Michigan's two-game losing streak heading into the Outback Bowl. The Wolverines played Top-10 teams in both games (Wisconsin, Ohio State) and now face a South Carolina squad that lost to two un-ranked teams and only defeated NC State, Louisiana Tech, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Florida by one score. And they just fired their offensive coordinator.

White is also assigning a high confidence ranking of 32 to a team that's favored by less than a field goal. White is highly confident in the winner, but many people in your pool may be skeptical. Picks like these could be the difference between winning your pool and going home empty-handed.

I would be surprised if that unwelcome run ends following the visit of the champions, despite an improved showing from the Hammers at the Etihad last weekend. The hosts may well score but with Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata in such good form for the visitors, it is difficult to look beyond an away win. The last time Watford won at Turf Moor in the league (3-2, April 2004) a certain Sean Dyche was in the Watford side, but if there is to be a winner when the sides meet this weekend I think the Hornets can nick it.

Watford have scored at least twice in their last eight away games in the Premier League and if they can maintain that sequence, they could take the points between two sides who have been outstanding in the first half of the season. Back-to-back 0-0 draws on the road for Crystal Palace and I think they will continue to climb the table against Bournemouth back on home soil.

The Terriers have lost their last four Premier League games, are struggling for goals and I think these two newly promoted sides will share the spoils in a low scoring game. The last time Alan Pardew managed a side at the Liberty Stadium (Crystal Palace, November 2016) they lost 5-4, but I would be surprised if we witnessed another nine-goal thriller at the weekend given the hosts have only had 27 shots on target in their 15 Premier League games so far this term.

The Baggies have only won once on the road so far, this year and I think one goal might be enough in what promises to be a tense, nervous affair in South Wales.
